2021 Certain Days Freedom for Political Prisoners Calendar

We are happy to announce the 2021 edition of The Certain Days: Freedom for Political Prisoners Calendar.

Certain Days is a joint fundraising and educational project between outside organizers in Montreal, Hamilton, New York and Baltimore, with two political prisoners being held in maximum-security prisons: David Gilbert in New York and Xinachtli (s/n Alvaro Luna Hernandez) in Texas. As the collective explains, “We were happy to welcome founding members Herman Bell and Robert Seth Hayes home from prison in 2018. All of the outside collective members are involved in day-to-day organizing work other than the calendar, on issues ranging from refugee and immigrant solidarity to community media to prisoner justice. We work from an anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, feminist, queer- and trans liberationist position.”

The proceeds from the Certain Days calendar are divided between various groups working to support prisoners and resist repression. Previous recipients include Release Aging People in Prison, Addameer, Civil Liberties Defense Center and the Rosenburg Fund for Children.

Your group can buy 10 or more for the rate of $10 each and then sell them for $15, keeping the difference for your organization.
