Haymarket Books http://www.haymarketbooks.org/
Haymarket Books is a nonprofit, radical book distributor and publisher, a project of the Center for Economic Research and Social Change. We believe that activists need to take ideas, history, and politics into the many struggles for social justice today. Learning the lessons of past victories, as well as defeats, can arm a new generation of fighters for a better world. As Karl Marx said, “The philosophers have merely interpreted the world; the point however is to change it.”

The Women’s Coordinating Committee For a Free Wallmapu [Toronto] is an indigenous Mapuche grassroots organization based in Toronto, Turtle Island. Our goal is to link the struggles of indigenous sovereignty (specifically the Mapuche Peoples of so-called southern $hile) with that of other indigenous, anti-capitalist/anti-colonial, community based struggles across Turtle Island, by creating awareness through events, protests, publications, etc…. We work to build our communities and solidarity across different struggles in the hope of seeing our Mapuche Territory in liberation.https://wccctoronto.wordpress.com/

ALSO, WHILE IN MONTREAL, TAKE THE TIME TO VISIT THIS CITY’S RADICAL BOOKSTORES, AND ALSO TO PARTICIPATE IN OTHER EVENTS ORGANIZED BY THE MONTREAL RADICAL LEFT DURING THE WORLD SOCIAL FORUM: http://kersplebedeb.com/posts/radical-events-world-social-forum-in-montreal/

clarification: while this facebook event was created by Kersplebedeb, this ‘bookfair’ in fact consists of all of the book vendors who registered to table at the World Social Forum and were placed in the Marie-Gerin Lajoie Auditorium foyer. Kersplebedeb did not (could not) invite, include, or exclude any vendors, as everyone here will be here because they took it upon themselves to register to have a kiosk at the WSF.
